Mason Rohleder Lesson Rates
Mason began playing the game of golf at the age of 15 and quickly developed a passion for improvement, breaking 80 within his first year. He went on to play collegiate golf at Saint Martin’s University, where he continued to refine his skills and compete at a high level. Mason is currently a member of the PGA Associate Program and is actively working toward full PGA membership, with long-term aspirations of competing and winning at the section level.
Mason brings a competitive background paired with a modern, relatable approach to teaching. His goal is to simplify the game for players of all skill levels, helping them build confidence, lower scores, and most importantly, enjoy the process of getting better.

Sam Malthesen Lesson Rates
Sam started playing the game of golf at the age of six. He began his career at the North Shore golf course in Northeast Tacoma, regularly participating in junior golf camps, and has since gone on to become a PGA apprentice and pursue his PGA membership and a career in golf. Sam is friendly and encouraging, and his goal is to make the game as simple as possible but most importantly to make it fun.

Join Our Golf Leagues
Like all the best days at the course, a round of golf is best spent with others! Join one of our golf leagues and experience all the friendly competition and camaraderie that makes our great game even greater, with leagues for both ladies and juniors that run through the spring and summer seasons. It’s the perfect way to make new friends, or to have a great day with old ones.
Ladies League
5pm Tee Times
If you’re looking to play more golf this season and meet new golfing friends, join our Ladies League at North Shore! It will run until September 2025. There will be afternoon tee time options available on Tuesdays, starting at 5pm. During the course closure, we’ll be playing at other area courses—be sure to check your emails for all the details!
Additional Information:
- We do weekly optional competitions, the buy-in is $5 and they are just little side games such as skins, KP’s, lowest putts, etc. Just fun little optional games that encourage people to better their golf and add a challenge to their round!
- Clinics will be offered this year. More info to come!

PGA Jr. League
The PGA Junior League is back at North Shore! Practices will be every Tuesday starting April 14th. Matches will be both at North Shore and away against local PGA Jr. League teams; these matches will be held on Sundays starting in late May.
North Shore Golf Club is proud to be participating in the PGA Junior League. This league is intended not only to teach juniors the basics of golf but also to give them experience in team competition. All participating juniors receive lessons during practices and compete against other golf courses in the area. Boys and girls of all skill levels will learn from our PGA Professional Captain, wear numbered jerseys, and compete on teams with friends in a two-person scramble format that encourages mentorship and builds confidence.
